This camp is for youth ages 8-12 who are interested in fabric, yarn, and basic sewing. They will learn cutting skills and sewing safety while developing small motor skills and hand-eye coordination.  Participants will decorate a 4th of July tee shirt and a summer themed embroidery projects. All supplies are included for the camp.  Camp dates are July 1, 2, 3 from 9am to 11am.  Camp takes place at the White Sewing Center, 735 Oak St, Scranton.

$120 per child includes 6 hours for basic sewing instruction and all project supplies.  A 50% deposit is required to hold the child’s spot.  The balance can be paid the first day of camp.

Youth ages 10 to 15 are invited to come to learn to sew.  They will learn to use the sewing machine, sewing safety, and measuring skills while practicing hand-eye coordination and small motor development.  The main project for this class is a reading pocket pillow.  Additional sewing project will be decided as sewing skills develop.  All supplies are provided.  The dates for camp are July 15, 16, 17, and 18 from 9am to noon.  Camp takes place at the White Sewing Center, 735 Oak St, Scranton.

$200 per child includes 12 hours of hands-on sewing instruction, all supplies and equipment.  A 50% deposit will reserve your space.  Balance is due the first day of camp.
