Sandi Graham, Owner

It was a long-time dream to own a cooking and sewing school.  I (finally) opened Vintage Kitchen after 27 years of teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at middle school, high school, and college levels as well as teaching undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses.

I have earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Home Economics and Nutrition from Mansfield State University and a Master of Sciences in Community Nutrition with an emphasis in Sports Nutrition from Georgia State University.

Cooking classes at Vintage Kitchen are designed to incorporate food science, time-management, nutrition, and, most importantly, fun.  You need to eat to live, so you may as well enjoy the process!

bryant

Bryant Belknap

A former restaurant owner, Bryant has been with Vintage Kitchen since the beginning!  Bryant is the number one assistant and the best at teaching with Asian flavors, bringing his “International Eclectic” ideas to Vintage Kitchen.  His creativity in the kitchen will inspire your taste buds.

Helen Allen

Helen Allen joins us to bring her cooking experience to our classes. She is has been a private chef, worked overnight in local bakeries (yum!) and is now the Chef Manager at Villa St. Joseph.

Cari Snyder

Cari Snyder is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. Her favorite hobby is cooking meals and throwing dinner parties for her friends and family. Cari was a student at Joseph A. Paglianite Culinary Arts Institute when she realized her true passion was making people happy with food, while also keeping people healthy. Cari transferred to Marywood University and has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Cari is currently a Clinical Dietitian at a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility, providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to a wide range of ages and disease states. Cari has the belief that food first will provide preventative measures for multiple diseases including but not limited to Heart Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity and Chronic Kidney Disease. You will find her teaching cooking classes designed to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy. She also has a love for ethnic foods so you may be interested in taking classes like French, Greek, Caribbean Cuisine and so much more…

Mackenzie McAndrew’s combined knowledge and experience from her Family and Consumer Sciences BA degree she obtained from Marywood University and her current full time job where she assists in teaching life skills to high school students at the Career Technology center of Lackawanna county makes her the perfect fit to facilitate our birthday parties. She has a natural talent working with children and a true passion for molding the minds of our youth while promoting kindness and generosity.
