July classes

Food tastes better at the beach! In this class we will make Crab Cakes and Garlic Shrimp as our main courses! Grilled polenta salad and White Chocolate Raspberry Bread Pudding will round out the menu!

Is it really summer if you have not had a strawberry pie?  Learn to make a great pie in this class!

Gemma will be teaching us how to make sushi and Udon noodles with Dashi Broth. No need for takeout when you can learn cook Japanese for yourself! She hinted at some of the techniques…it will be a great class.

Ages 10 and up are invited to this camp to improve your baking skills. July 12th, we will have Cookie Lab and learn how ingredients affect a recipe. July 19th, we will make Cream Puffs as we master the Pat a Choux. On July 26th, we will use our skills to create unique Quick Breads and Muffins. Class begins at 6pm each week!

$90 per person is for all three weeks of hands-on instruction, all ingredients and equipment.

This will not be your average filet!  You will practice cooking a filet and making a sexy sauce to go with it.

Small Appetizers for that summer patio party ! Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Veggie Skewer; Brie and Raspberry Bites and a crabtini cocktail.

August Online Classes

Try an online class this month!

After you sign up, you will get the ingredient list and Zoom link. Then, all you have to do is sign-in and we will lead you through the rest!


What do you do with all the zucchini? Take this class and get a few great recipes.



Creme Brulee is a great dessert and with a little guidance, you can master the techniques…all from your own home!


In this online class, we will make Crab Cioppino Style.  Cooking the crab in a great spicy sauce will be a recipe you come back to over and over.  If you want, add shrimp or clams! You can use the oven or the grill for this recipe

Sewing Lessons

Two new sessions of sewing lessons has been added to our schedule! April 1st begins the next evening session, 5:30 to 7:30. And, brand new, a morning session beginning April 12th from 10:00am to noon. The cost for the 5-weeks is $75. Students will provide their own project and supplies. Please note: these classes take place at the White Sewing Center, 735 Oak St, Scranton.
