Adult Cooking Classes

Sushi Party     December 9th 6pm $65

We have a guest teacher who spent a year traveling Asia to teach us how to make sushi, miso soup, and udon noodles with dashi broth.

College Cooking   January 10th 6pm   $65

Some colleges have great food, and sometimes not. College students can come and learn to go beyond Ramen noodles to make great dorm food that is inexpensive, fast, and even healthy!

Leeks and Artichokes    January 17th 6pm $65

Don’t let these foods intimidate you! Stuffed artichokes, spinach and artichoke dip, grilled artichokes, caramelized leek pizza, leek tartlets, and potato leek soup are on the menu.

Soups    January 30th 6pm

Get ready for the big chill with new soup recipes! Menu soon!

Kids Cooking Classes

Kids and Cookies    December 14th 5:30 $40

The kids will take over the kitchen and make and decorate cookies. Great holiday fun while parents can catch up on their holiday duties.


I Can Make that From Scratch!?     December 28th 9am to noon $40

Break up the winter break by cooking some of your favorite foods, all from scratch! Pop tarts, chicken tenders, and maybe even marshmallows!

September 22    Easy Weeknight Favorites 6pm $50

We will cook a selection of recipes from the book by the same name! All recipes will be fresh, quick, and fantastic.

September 28  Cooking with Essential Oils   6pm $50

Come and learn how to use essential oils while cooking some of your favorite dishes.  This inaugural class has a special price…get it while you can!

October 4    Thai Food 6pm $65

Bryant will lead the class in making a Thai meal. You will be making Thai foods at home.

October 19    It’s Pumpkin Season 6pm   $65

Pumpkin lovers rejoice! We will make recipes so you can get your fill of the fall favorite! I’m feeling Pumpkin Ravioli!

November 1     Soufflé Secrets   6pm   $65

Once you learn the techniques, soufflés will become a go to dish. We will make Gorgonzola Soufflé, Chocolate Soufflé, and Crab Soufflé.

The kids will be cooking iconic New England foods. New England Clam Chowder and apple pie are on the menu!

Adult classes:

August 18 Friday Night Food Fight 6pm $40

Participants will be split into teams (or you can bring your own team) and dual it out with slider recipes! It’s time to step up your burgers.

August 23 Celebrate the Bounty 6pm $65

Put farm to table into action in your own home! Bring out the best of the late summer and early fall in this class. The menu is: Roasted Eggplant with Sicilian Style Cannellini Beans; Corn Farrotto; Farmer’s Market Lasagna; MediterraneanVegetable Wedges; and Burrata and Strawberry Bruschetta.

Apron String’s classes:

August 7 Brownies, Bars, and Blondies 5:30 $40

We are making a variety of baked goods and combinations. Maybe even a healthy one! Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes.

August 14 Sticky Fingers 4-H Meeting    4:30 to 6:30  $5

It’s our regular monthly meeting. We will be taking new members in October.

Summer Camps

Summer Camps at Vintage Kitchen

Appliance Mini Camp

July 5, 6, 7   9am to noon    $100

We are using the deep fryer, pasta maker, juicer and more in this 3-day camp.  Safety as well as cooking skills will be featured.

Nutrient Camp

July 10, 11, 12,13  9am to noon   $125

Don’t tell the kids they will be learning about nutrition as we cook recipes from each of the major nutrients.  Soon they will be making you dinner.

International Foods Camp

July 17, 18, 19, 20  9am to noon  $125

Foods from around the world do not have to be intimidating. We will cook recipes that are both familiar and new for the campers.  I expect they will like more than they think!

Baking Camp- SOLD OUT (taking names for waiting list)

July 24, 25, 26, 27  9am to noon   $125

Breads, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, quick breads, savory and sweets are included in four days  of baking techniques.

Making Meals Camp

August 1, 2, 3, 4  9am to noon  $125

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks each have their day as we make well-balanced and kid-friendly meals.
